This incredible transformation starts with a list of non-scale victories, because they’re THAT good! Sure, the impressive 50-pound weight loss success could stand alone and impress just about anyone, but the simple and raw “wins” for Kayla signify a brand-new way of life. Her list includes:

  • Putting my seat belt on in the car and not seeing my fat overlap the strap
  • Having to buy new workout clothes because pulling my pants up to my chest was no longer attractive
  • Dropping 3 pants sizes and 3 shirt sizes
  • Hitting the 50-pound mark. Reducing medication because of success
  • No longer feeling bloated or having stomach cramps
  • Having normal bowel movements
  • Keeping up with others in my group fitness classes and/or completing classes without taking a break
  • Being able to wear boots because my calves got smaller and I can find some that fit
  • Motivating other people

“Diets Don’t Work”

Kayla says she could, “go on forever,” with the list of life-changing moments that have occurred since she began the 131 Method, something she started at the urging of one of her fitness instructors who saw how hard she exercised without dropping a single pound. “I tried countless diets in the past. From day one, this was completely different. It is a lot easier to stick with something when you know the why. AND, it works. The education and new perspectives are life-changing.

“Taking charge of my own diet is revolutionary. It is difficult to trust your instincts at first because no other diets  allow that to happen. But if you are 100% honest with yourself, with what you are eating, and how you are feeling, you can tweak everything. I honestly cannot say enough great things about this program. I still get teary eyed thinking about it because IT ACTUALLY WORKED!”

The 131 philosophy is all about exploration, investigation, restoration and personalization. As a result, Kayla’s life completely changed because her outlook changed, “I now view food as fuel, rather than a treat. I am aware of every label. If my mind travels and I find myself thinking, ‘one bite won’t hurt,’ I immediately look at the ingredients, which usually changes my mind instantly.” There’s no going back to the way life was before 131, because once you know how food affects every aspect of your life, from hormones to gut health to sleep, decision-making becomes easier, and intuitive.

“It Felt Easy”

Kayla says she didn’t find anything in the program difficult, so struggling simply didn’t exist. She ate plenty of food, and enjoyed the progression to healthier, organic options. During moments of any hunger during her fasting protocol, she was happy to lean on lessons about true hunger, emotional eating and the science behind fasting. Most of the time, she’d recognize her hunger wasn’t true hunger at all, which proved invaluable information about her body and mind. She’s proud of the fact that three family members have followed her lead and began changing their eating habits. She also notes that she’s received countless messages from people asking how she’s been able to achieve results in such a short period of time (and keep off the weight). She takes pride in declaring, “the 131 Method,” to all who inquire.

Kayla continues to lose weight even months after completing the program. She gets more out of her workouts, and loves flexing her, “fasting muscles,” by using Intermittent Fasting and OMAD whenever she desires. Her enthusiasm for the program comes out when she hears about people who are on the fence about trying it: “If what you are doing currently isn’t working, why wouldn’t you try something new? You will not regret it! DO IT!!!”
