Cindy, like so many women, had yo-yo’d her weight for decades. “I wanted to be fit at 40, but I was fat. I wanted to be fit at 50, but I was fat and falling apart. Now I am 60 and sexy!” She has fewer aches and pains, and healed her ongoing shoulder tendinitis, which makes her feel younger and more vibrant. But it really is the weight loss that helped her get her groove and self-esteem back to what it was long ago. Cindy has lost 37 pounds so far and feels confident she’ll keep it off because of the 131 Method’s magic ingredient: education. “I feel like I will never gain back the weight because I have all the tools to make the 131 Method a lifestyle. I know I don’t have to be perfect to succeed.”
Husband and Wife Weight Loss Victory
When asked about the most profound part of her transformation, Cindy doesn’t hesitate to mention her husband and his amazing weight loss. “I feel like I am finally changing my body, my health, and entire life. My hubby saw that I lost weight and asked if I would put him on my diet. He lost 43 pounds in 12-weeks even though he goes out with his friends and still indulges once in awhile. It’s so empowering to see us break through our weight loss resistance.” Even though he didn’t go through the program like Cindy, the principles alone provided dramatic weight loss.
Less Bloated, Fewer Meds
Cindy, like most people, experienced fast results in Phase One: Ignite. It fueled her to keep going and stay motivated. She fought her desire to just stay on Ignite because of her success, trusting the process to continue with new phases. You see, when you phase your diet, you build on the previous education, creating metabolic flexibility. Nourish and Renew, the next two phases, taught her even more about her body, and produced similar results. She followed the program (while never seeking perfection) and achieved her astounding results. “I used to take a lot of over the counter medication for headaches, and now that I am drinking more water and figuring out which foods don’t agree with me, I rarely take them. My tummy is less bloated, and I am bloated less often. I just feel better overall.”
Recipes & Support
Cindy made several recipes from the program, commenting that the artichoke cakes, spaghetti squash bowls, and truffles were among her favorites. “The recipes and support are amazing. Anyone on the fence just needs to sign up because it’s unlike anything else. It isn’t a diet, it’s YOUR diet, and that’s why the weight comes right off.” Her favorite lessons included the ones about safe fasting, and maximizing your veggies, a must-listen for anyone wanting to incorporate micro-nutrients while staying low carb.
